In this role, you will introduce your peers to Tapatío frozen meals, driving brand awareness and making it the Mexican meal of choice on your campus! 

Your main tasks include buying Tapatío frozen meals from your local Walmart and distributing them within student organizations, as well as creating and sharing engaging social media content on your personal Instagram and TikTok accounts.

Timeline: This part-time role runs through the Fall 2024 semester/quarter. Exact dates are subject to minor adjustments.

  • On-Boarding + Training: Monday, August 5th  - Sunday, August 25th (3-weeks)
  • Program Execution Period: Monday, August 26th - Sunday, November 17th (12-weeks)

  • Earn a $750 total stipend for the program, split up into biweekly payments

Over the course of 12-weeks, you will complete the following tasks:

  • Purchasing 55 Tapatío frozen meals to distribute within student organizations on-campus. The goal is to hand out the meals in an experiential way. Think of a Bachelorette or NFL Sunday watch party. Ambassadors will be reimbursed for purchasing the frozen meals from their local Walmart. All meals will be sampled for free within the student organizations.
  • Creating and sharing 5 TikTok posts
  • Sharing 2 Instagram Reels - reposts of your best TikTok
  • Creating and sharing 8 Instagram stories
  • Participating in Lunch & Learn video group call(s) during the program

In addition to the tasks above, you will also be responsible for the following logistics:

  • Pre-program virtual training & planning
  • Weekly communication with EvolveZ via Slack and video calls
  • Capture & submit picture and video content throughout the program
  • Adhere to task due dates/milestones


  • Must be a full-time, currently enrolled college student available to promote Tapatío in-person on your college campus in the upcoming Fall semester/quarter.
  • Should not be participating in another Ambassador program within the frozen meal industry.
  • There must be a Walmart near your campus for you to be eligible for this job because you will be responsible for purchasing Tapatío frozen meals to distribute within student organizations.
  • The ability to connect with on-campus organizations (Greek Life/campus clubs) is crucial for this role.
  • Passionate about event planning, social content creation & promotion, and being a trendsetter for new products amongst your peers. Added bonus if you already love Tapatío!
  • A strong presence on Instagram and TikTok is required. For Instagram, we require applicants to have at least 1,000 followers with strong engagement rates. For TikTok, we require applicants to consistently have videos that generate over 500 views.
  • Ambassadors must make their Instagram & TikTok accounts public and unhide likes throughout the program.
  • This paid, part-time role is as a 1099 Independent Contractor. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the US and possess a valid SSN.



EvolveZ works with brands like Tapatío to create and execute their Brand Ambassador programs. For this program, the EvolveZ team will interview, hire, train, and manage the Ambassadors on a weekly basis, while the Tapatío team maintains general oversight.
