This position is only available to those who attend a University in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin.

As a Kora Brand Ambassador, you will market the brand and educate peers about the unique services offered. You will do so by utilizing your personal network and executing targeted outreach to various groups. Your primary goal will be to utilize sales and marketing tactics to generate Kora app registrations.

This position is for the Fall 2021 period (till end of December) with potential for extension into future semesters. We will be hiring for the position on a rolling basis throughout the entire Fall 2021 period. Recent grads who still have a strong college network are welcome to apply!

Successful App Registration Details

• An app registration is considered successful when a user signs up for the Kora app and then verifies their email address.
• As part of this Ambassador program, people who successfully register for Kora from you will receive a $5 welcome credit on their Kora app. They can either withdraw this balance by connecting a bank account or utilizing it within the app.

Responsibilities

• Generate successful app registrations using your unique referral code. There is no cap on the number of registrations you can generate. You will be provided guidelines, but for the most part, you have creative freedom to utilize tactics you think would work best for you.
• Engage your personal network, as well as host classroom and organization presentations to drive app registrations
• Flexible working hours: there is no minimum or maximum number of registrations you can generate. There are no set working hours, so it works favorably with a busy college schedule. However, the best performers are well recognized by the Kora marketing team.
• You are expected to maintain good effort and communication throughout the program. 4+ weeks of no check-in with your manager and you will be replaced with another applicant.

Qualifications

• MUST attend a University in the states outlined in the "Description" section above
• Interest in finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and sales
• Applicants who are familiar with Kora or have used a similar service are preferred, but not required. In this position, you will be spreading financial inclusion, so if you share that mission, submit an application!
• Greek Life members are preferred, but not required
• Well-connected individuals preferred, but not required
